The backyard of this North Salem home was dominated by a severe slope that was hard to plant. This problem area left the family with a less than desireable view, which was a problem because their kitchen, living room and dining room all looked out at this space. They originally had a water feature in this place although it was small and had fallen into disrepair. TRD designs was called in to completely transform this backyard. A new PONDLESS WATERFALL was created. This water feature works in conjuction with a RAINWATER HARVESTING system using the water gathered from the roof of the residence to supply the feature with water. It was essential that the family had a place to retreat to within their backyard. Pathways and stone stairways were constructed in order to reach the new terraced patio. When relaxing on this patio the family can enjoy the waterfall that runs right alongside or gather around the integrated fire ring which is propane powered.
